Upon receipt but no later than January 31st or they become delinquent and penalty & interest is assessed.

What Property Tax Exemptions does the Water Authority provide to qualified homeowners?
Upon proper application to the Harris County Appraisal District, the Water Authority offers a 20% residential homestead exemption, a $21,400 exemption for over 65 homeowners and a veteran’s disability exemption that is a percentage exemption based on the level of disability.
